Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is an upcoming American action adventure film directed by James Mangold. It is the fifth installment in the Indiana Jones franchise, and stars Harrison Ford, Karen Allen, Shia LaBeouf, Ray Winstone, John Hurt and Stephen Fry. The film will be released on July 19th 2019. The film was announced in October 2018 with a teaser trailer announcing that it would be an origin story for Indiana Jones set in 1938 as he discovers a mystical artifact known as a “dial” that not only grants him wishes but also puts his very existence in jeopardy.

History of Indiana Jones:

The history of Indiana Jones is a fascinating story. Indy has always been a man who defied the odds. He was born in 1899 and grew up during World War I, fighting for his country. When he found out he had a son, he went to find him on the battlefields of Europe. Indy fought in World War II and after the war, became one of the most famous archeologists in America. After that, he was called upon to help solve mysteries all over the world–including how ancient civilizations like the Egyptians were able to build such great structures with such limited resources–but it was when his adventures led him to find what was left of Ark of the Covenant that everything changed… In 1942, Indy finds himself in possession of a mysterious object known as the “Dial of Destiny.” The Dial is said to be one-third of an artifact that gives its owner control over time itself. With it, he can choose to go anywhere or do anything–which leads him into even more dangerous situations than ever before…
