Brad Bird is heading to an alternate future for Ray Gunn, a new animated adventure from the Academy Award-winning director of The Incredibles, Ratatouille and The Iron Giant.

Sam Rockwell voices private eye Raymond Gunn, whose latest case in the sprawling city of Metropia pulls him into a mystery involving murder, aliens and multimedia superstar Venus Nova, voiced by Scarlett Johansson.

Ray Gunn opens in select theaters December 4 and streams December 18, 2026 on Netflix.
