Hot Bench Judge Juarez Is Not Holding On

A former tenant wants his security deposit back after moving out of a living situation he says became increasingly uncomfortable. His landlord has a very different version, accusing him of breaking house rules, monopolizing shared spaces and helping drive up the utility bills.

As the two sides battle over who caused the problems, the courtroom exchange takes its own turn when someone makes the mistake of telling Judge Yodit Tewolde Juarez to “hold on.” That request doesn’t go quite as planned.

Puddy responds with the devastatingly mature comeback. From there, the argument only gets more ridiculous until Elaine announces she’s leaving and Puddy tells her that if she walks out, they’re through.

Richard is suing Loren over a motorcycle purchase tied to an internet sales agreement, while Loren maintains that he was scammed. Then Crumb turns the tables with allegations about how Doss was operating the business, and suddenly the original partnership dispute has a lot more explaining to do. Somehow, the courtroom detour eventually lands on one very important question about a trip to Buffalo: who paid for the food?
