Who eats a Snickers with a knife and fork? Apparently, anyone with a little class! On Seinfeld, Elaine discovers that her eccentric boss, Mr. Pitt, refuses to eat his candy bar with his hands. It’s the kind of ridiculous behavior she expects from high society.

But George sees an opportunity to elevate his own dining etiquette. Soon he’s eating dessert with a knife and fork, too, and looking down on anyone who doesn’t. His perfectly smug question says it all: “How do you eat yours, with your hands?” Only on Seinfeld could eating a candy bar become a status symbol.
