In Train to Busan, Seok-woo (Gong Yoo) is a fund manager and single dad who lives in Seoul with his young daughter, Soo-ahn (Kim Su-an). His busy life does not leave much time to spend with his daughter, but he reluctantly grants her birthday wish and takes her to Busan to visit her mother. When a zombie outbreak sweeps through South Korea, they become trapped on the train along with other terrified passengers. Seok-woo tries to protect his daughter while fighting the zombies as they make the harrowing journey to the safe zone. Can Seok-woo bring his daughter to safety?
