The Trump campaign has stated that they intend to change their tactics from the 2020 election, where Joe Biden won by more than 7 million votes. This time around, they plan to go on the “offense” by deploying what they are calling “soldiers” and “poll watchers” to polling places.
It’s important to note that despite the Trump campaign’s claims of voter fraud, more than 60 court rulings have found these claims to be unsupported by facts. In fact, an extensive report from the right-wing Heritage Foundation found that voter fraud in Texas amounted to only 0.000096% of all ballots cast.
Nonetheless, the Trump campaign is vowing to invest a significant amount of money into voter integrity efforts. Their goal is to ensure that every American knows that their ballot will be cast, counted, and matter. They want to avoid any irregularities and fraud that they believe occurred in the last election. Some might call this voter intimidation and is raising concern for many Americans.
During an appearance on “The Kimberly Guilfoyle Show,” Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt discussed these plans. She stated that they will not be playing defense like they did in 2020, but instead, they will have soldiers and poll watchers on the ground to ensure election integrity.
It’s worth mentioning that Kimberly Guilfoyle, who is engaged to Donald Trump Jr., was present at the January 6, 2021 rally at the Ellipse and helped organize and fundraise for the event. She has faced scrutiny for her involvement in the rally, which contributed to the attack on the Capitol.
