Clarence Moore has one answer for just about every question Judge Judy asks: “Yes, ma’am!” But as the judge digs into a dispute over a home remodeling job, his enthusiastic responses aren’t making the financial details any clearer.

The case centers on handyman Scott Gober and allegations of unfinished or substandard remodeling work. As Judge Judy questions the parties about withdrawals, cash payments and the $2,600 price tag, she grows increasingly skeptical about what actually happened.
