Inde Navarrette Turned Down Millions to Play Rogue in Marvel’s X-Men
Inde Navarrette’s reported decision to pass on higher-paying projects puts the spotlight on how seriously Marvel may be positioning Rogue in its next generation of mutants. For X-Men fans, the intriguing angle is the emerging lineup: Navarrette’s Rogue alongside Sadie Sink’s Jean Grey, with the MCU’s long-awaited big-screen mutant debut set for 2028.
Inde Navarrette isn’t just having a breakout year. She’s apparently betting big on Rogue. After Obsession launched her into Hollywood’s A-list, Navarrette reportedly passed on a role in Heat 2 and turned down another horror movie offering her $2.5 million to commit to Marvel’s new X-Men.
It’s a major bet on the MCU and a character that could keep Navarrette busy for years. She’ll join Sadie Sink’s Jean Grey and Marvel’s new generation of mutants as Rogue when the X-Men finally make their big-screen MCU debut.
Going Rogue apparently comes with a pretty serious price tag.
Marvel’s X-Men opens exclusively in theaters on May 5, 2028.
