J.D. Is Back Where It All Began in Scrubs Season 2
Scrubs’ return has a built-in comic advantage: J.D., Turk, Elliot, and Dr. Cox bring back the character chemistry that defined Sacred Heart, while a new generation of interns gives the hospital’s chaos a fresh rhythm. The setup also lets the revival play with time, placing J.D. in a more experienced role without losing the fast-moving relationships and familiar performance styles that made the original comedy memorable.
The first look at the new season of Scrubs brings J.D. back to Sacred Heart and reunites him with some very familiar faces. Zach Braff returns alongside Donald Faison as Turk, Sarah Chalke as Elliot, and John C. McGinley as Dr. Cox as the beloved comedy begins a new chapter.
Years after his original days at the hospital, J.D. returns with considerably more life experience and a new role, while a fresh generation of interns discovers that Sacred Heart—and the people running it—haven’t lost their ability to create chaos.
